On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Florentine sneaker brand launches an initiative aimed at raising awareness and sparking reflection on an urgent and profound issue: gender-based violence.
The windows of the three flagship stores in Milan, Florence, and Rome will be personalized with a delicate yet powerful message: "And what if it weren’t raining outside?"
The phrase expresses a desire for hope, comparing violence to rain—a metaphor for what limits women’s freedom and safety, hindering their paths and choices.
Imagining a world "without rain" means dreaming of a reality where every woman can live without fear, feel safe, and freely step outside to fully embrace life.
This initiative is not just a reflection on the present but a wish for a future where violence has no place—a call to action, inviting everyone to contribute to change.
"At D.A.T.E., we believe that even small gestures can make a difference," says Francesco Bozzi, Brand Manager of D.A.T.E. "For us, as always, it's about sharing values that we consider fundamental—a way to draw attention to important issues and encourage collective dialogue. Every gesture matters, every word carries weight, and it can be the starting point for building a better future."
