Florania's Fall Winter 2025 collection that will be presented at Milan Fashion Week, at Fondazione Sozzani, explores the deep connection between alchemy and surrealism, drawing inspiration from great surrealist icons such as Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo and Leonor Fini.

The collection's called “As above, so below,” echoes a famous modern paraphrase of the second verse of the Emerald Table (8th-9th century), a popular concept that describes the interconnected relationship between universal laws and the human soul.
Florania's collection immerses itself in this thought, inviting the rediscovery of the inner world as a space of metamorphosis and resistance.
The creation of Flora Rabitti celebrate a fluid and transformative aesthetic, inspired by the magic and by the ability to be renewal in a way that is peculiar to alchemical practices.
Each garment in the collection is a reflection on the concept of self-identity with hyper-feminine dresses placed side by side with masculine pieces like trench coats, denim and jersey.
The prints are hand-painted with watercolors and Indian ink and are combined with textiles manipulations made with airbrush, washes, embroidery and deconstructed knitwear, creating surfaces in evolution.
The printed fabrics have been created in collaboration with Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (Japan) using FOREARTH, an innovative textile printer designed to reduce water consumption.
Florania’s commitment to conscious fashion is present in every material choice: the collection is fully circular and produced in Italy with organic or recycled fibers.
Fabrics include flowing viscoses, organic cottons, soft alpaca, recycled nylon gabardine and GOTS-certified silk.
The presentation will be coupled with a screening of the short film “Everything Above, So Below” directed by Filippo Savoia and filmed inside the historic Teatro all'Antica in Sabbioneta, Mantua.
The director adopts an evocative language by interweaving surrealism and alchemy in an introspective journey.
The theater becomes a stage for a cinematographic vision in a never-ending 'reverie,' while investigating the boundary between inner dimension and world perception.
It’s a journey between mythology and mystery, an invitation to explore what is invisible and to expand the boundaries of creativity.
“As Above, So Below” is a manifesto of healing and imagination, an exploration of strengths that both overcome and connect us.
