"Bring Her Back" is an Australian horror film directed by brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, known for their previous work "Talk to Me."

The film stars Sally Hawkins, Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, and Jonah Wren Phillips.

The plot follows a brother and sister who uncover a terrifying ritual in the isolated home of their new adoptive mother.

The film explores themes of grief and loss, inspired by personal experiences of the directors.

Danny Philippou revealed that the loss of their cousin’s child deeply influenced the narrative, using horror as a means to address these dark themes.

The film was shot in the summer of 2024 in South Australia, particularly in Lightsview. "Bring Her Back" is scheduled for release in Australian theaters on May 29, 2025, and in the United States on May 30, 2025.

The film is produced by Causeway Films and RackaRacka, with international distribution handled by Stage 6 Films of Sony Pictures Releasing International. In the U.S., the distribution will be managed by A24.
