The initiative returns to support women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, giving them the opportunity to have the areola tattooed for free in a tattoo studio in Barcelona.

Fighting breast cancer with research and prevention, but also providing concrete support to women who bear the scars of the disease on their skin.

This is the message of Surkana, which over time has collaborated with major Spanish and global associations (from Active Africa to Aldeas Infantiles, from the Red Cross to Solidarity Without Borders) to promote those essential social initiatives aimed at achieving the well-being of both people and the planet.

On the occasion of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, the brand once again stands alongside women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, offering them the opportunity to receive a free areola tattoo.

To make this possible, Surkana will donate 50% of the proceeds from sales made on October 19th, both in-store and online, to Isa Cercos, a renowned tattoo artist specializing in creating areolas for women who have overcome the disease.

For a few days, at her studio in Barcelona, Isa will offer her art to perform tattoos that restore areola-nipple pigmentation for those who request it.

The tattoo thus becomes a fundamental tool and a great aid in improving psychological recovery after surgery, helping to overcome a disabling aesthetic gap and allowing women to regain confidence in their bodies after the illness.
