Scheduled to take place from February 25 to 27 at Fiera Milano Rho, LINEAPELLE—the world's most important business experience for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chain—presents the second edition of LINEAPELLE INTERIORS, its exhibition project dedicated to the fusion of leather and materials with interior design.
Flooring, walls, tables, chairs, screens, sofas, bedrooms, and bathrooms come together to promote, enhance, and expand the innovative excellence of the supply chain in the interior design sector.
Lineapelle Interiors was created to foster collaborative connections with the world of design and architecture, both in Italy and internationally, through styling initiatives and product development. "Our event," explains Gianni Russo, President of Lineapelle, "is a model of Design Economy, conceived and strongly desired to support the industry, as well as design companies, in becoming more competitive."
This synergy between Italian producers of leather, innovative materials, and renowned design firms will be showcased in a 1,000-square-meter space within Pavilion 24 of LINEAPELLE. Here, 19 installations will illustrate the evolution of a dialogue that is opening new pathways in interior design. "Starting from the outstanding quality of Made in Italy leather, whose value," notes Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle and General Director of UNIC – Italian Tanneries, "becomes a source of inspiration for architects and designers."

The installations debuting at Rho Fiera are the result of a collaboration between 37 companies, forming 19 duets that foster a dialogue between an Italian producer of leather and other surface materials and a design studio, including international firms.
"The transformation of Made in Italy semi-finished materials into design products," explains Maurizio Molini, Creative Director of Lineapelle Interiors, "helps to communicate their value, enhancing their appeal on a global scale. From the creation of new products to the identification of new markets, research and creativity form the intangible infrastructure of the Italian Design Economy— a system supported by a strong manufacturing business culture and a solid educational network, both capable of attracting talent at an international level."
The result is a collection of projects that highlight the technological and applicative innovation of leather and materials through a unique journey of interior design solutions, all waiting to be discovered.
